EAST RIDGE ROUTE
This is a panorama shot of the south face of Granite Peak (to the left) and the south face of
Tempest Mountain (to the right). Climbers staying on the Froze to Death Plateau descend into
the saddle, then up the east ridge of Granite. This was taken from the summit of Cairn
Mountain to the south of Granite.
